This is wild camping at its best. The Krantz Campsite is for those that want to be far away from people and buildings. Situated on a bend in the Bell River, the jackal buzzards and dassies make their homes in the krantz across the river.
Krantz Campsite facts
- From R175 per person per night (rates are variable depending on peak/off peak season, duration, family size and age, etc)
- Wild camping
- Enough space for two vehicles
- Ablutions and hot showers 600m away but best suited for campers with their own showers and toilets
- Alternatively, have a refreshing swim in the Bell River!
- No power
- Built braai
- Wooden gazebo for additional shade
- Pick your spot close to the river
- Safe and secure (busy working farm, regularly patrolled by owner and staff)
- Not suited for those with disabilities or walking ailments

- Dam Campsite (lots of space and options)
- Garden Campsite (semi-enclosed, near buildings)
- River Campsite (wild camping along Bell River)
- Single Rooms (for when it’s raining or when you decide you want a change from camping)
- Family Rooms (for bigger camping groups and families for when it’s raining)
